Session Objectives:

Students will understand what academic/scholarly research is and how the peer review process works.

Students will discuss how research methods and publication processes differ in different disciplines.

Students will begin to be able to evaluate academic sources for credibility and relevance.

Students will learn basic search strategies for academic databases.
