Publishing in the Open: Why, When, and How

Publishing in the Open: Why, When, and How Online

The scholarly publishing landscape is progressively shifting towards journals that publish some or all of their articles in an open-access (OA) format, sometimes with associated fees. What are the implications for an author in publishing OA? Why would you consider it, in what circumstances is it “worth it” (or not), and how does it actually work? This session will equip you to see through a different lens and make more informed decisions about your publications in the increasingly OA environment.

Location: Zoom. Attendance is free, but registration is required. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
